Studio Rental Agreement

This Studio Rental Agreement is between Castle Records, LLC (the “Studio”) and the client identified below (the “Renter”). By signing, the Renter agrees to the rental terms, the deposit and cancellation policy, and the studio rules set out below.

This is a working business form. For high-value or unusual engagements, have a California-licensed attorney review the final terms. Submitting this form creates a record of your request/agreement with Castle Records, LLC.

Terms & House Rules

Deposit & payment. A deposit of 50% of the quoted rate reserves the date; the balance is due before the session ends. Cancellation. Cancellations 48+ hours before the session are fully refundable; inside 48 hours the deposit is forfeited. Overtime is billed at the hourly rate in 30-minute increments. Liability. The Renter is responsible for damage caused by the Renter or their guests. Conduct. No illegal substances, no smoking indoors, and no unattended guests in equipment areas. Master ownership of recordings made by the Renter remains with the Renter; the Studio claims no ownership of client recordings unless a separate production agreement says so.
